There I was, sitting on the porch, watching these tiny humming birds flitting around. It has been cold here and I wondered how do such small birds manage.....Well, I ran right out and bought one of those feeders, came home, filled it with the red nectar and hung it in a tree just 20 feet from my new front porch/deck. The feeder has been there now for a week and all I can say is there are now aprox a dozen hummers that come by quite regularly. Some fly silently, some make lots of noise with their wings cutting the air. Some have rather bland colorings, some have the most majestic reds, greens, blue metalic colorations. Some have single eye makeup markings and some have doubles, like watching a fashon show from Japan or something..... Go figure, I can't believe how easily ammused I am at certain things, and this is one of them!

| Sum Sum Summer Time...I really like this time of year, warming up, I can releive my cabin fever itch, going to set up the deck today, get the bbq cleaned up and get ready for a wonderful weekend...I hope everyone has a great weekend too...
